My Notting Hill

This was the first public event  I attended back in June since pandemic closures. A yoga session in the park. It was my first visit to this park and as I parked my car and walked towards the yoga space, I was completely blown away by the beauty of it. Lush green park with tall, old, old trees , their branches and leaves covering the entire sky.

As I laid my mat and got situated on the greenest grass of post rains, close to humans outside family after a long time, I was immediately synced with the energy of nature, human and self, all merged in this practice of yogic kriya. We were all so settled and calm, just inherently at peace to be back at such togetherness again in the lap of mother nature.

Lying on the mat I stared at the trees stretching themselves to the new morning. I stayed back even after the class got over. And just laid there. Video called my mother to show her the heavenly park. And there it started to rain again heavily. As  I walked back to the car, I was so in love with the new city I just moved to and its undefinable beauty.
